The first night of youth group is Friday, September 23rd, 7-9pm.
SURGE is an ongoing Jr. High ministry for grades 7&8 that meets every Friday night during the school year from 7-9 pm. A typical Friday night includes game time (Japanese Game Show, American Gladiators, or Fishy Fishy Fishy), Bible study and small group time. Other activities open to those involved in SURGE include JAM and VBS. JAM (Junior High Adventures in Ministry) is a weekend retreat where students learn to share the gospel with inner city children, grow together, and are challenged in their own faith as well. 
They also participate in VBS (Vacation Bible School) which is a ministry of Fellowship Baptist Church that is staffed by Junior High students and some adult helpers as well. Students learn to teach memory verses, aid teachers in classrooms, and work alongside of children for an entire week.
