Joy is still in the air at FBC.  Even when the Christmas celebrations end, many of the ministries are ringing in the New Year with special events.  Below is a list of specific happenings, grouped by the sponsoring ministry.  Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you haven’t been involved with this particular group before.  The beginning of a new year is a great way to get connected.  Happy 2010!

Celebrate Recovery

Event: New Year’s Eve Party
Date: Thursday, December 31st
Time: 7:00pm
Location: FBC, Mt. Laurel Campus
Description: Lots of fun, food, and fellowship at this all night bash.

Wired (Sr. High Ministry)

Event: Winter Olympics
Date: Friday, January 1
Time: 1pm -4pm
Location: FBC, Mt. Laurel Campus
Description:  Competitive snowman building, human dog sledding, and other countless creative winter sports.  Cost is $10, which includes all the activities and food.  No sleds needed – everything will be provided. 

YAM (Young Adults Ministry)

Event: Ice Skating/Dinner at Cosi
Date: Sunday, January 3rd
Time: 2:15 for carpooling; 3:00-5:00 skating; 5:00 dinner
Location: Meet at FBC, Mt. Laurel Campus for carpooling; skating at River Rink and Cosi in Philly
Description: Enjoy some wintry fun with the young adults from FBC.  Admission to the rink is $8; skate rental is $3; Cosi dinner is on you.

General

Event: Nativity Takedown
Date: Saturday, Jan 2nd
Time: 8am – 4pm
Location: FBC, Mt. Laurel Campus
Description:  Help take down the nativity set and enjoy a warm meal at lunchtime, too!  Jobs for both men and women are available.
