Dave Merkh has been an FBC missionary to Word of Life Seminary, Brazil,
for 22 years. He teaches a full course load, coordinates the Master in Ministries degree program, and works with married students, leading Bible studies with the men. Dave is associate pastor of biblical exposition at First Baptist of Atibaia, a church of over 1000 members, where he also teaches a men’s SS class. He and Carol Sue speak frequently at family conferences all over Brazil. Together they have authored 14 books focusing on family and ministry themes, including O Mapa da Mina, a devotional book for families based on Proverbs. The Merkhs have 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
Worship Leader
Chris Morris is a Bible and History teacher at Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear,
DE where he also leads worship at his local church. Chris served as the Assistant Youth Pastor here at FBC back in 2004-2005. Chris and Carrie have been married for 5 years now and have 2 beautiful children - Wyatt is 3 and Leah
is 8 months.
